Bont Short Track

Platinum k390

The Bont Platinum blade is made with K390 powder metal tool steel. It holds its edge up to 8 times longer than normal steel blades. The powder metal structure is very fine which gives exceptional gliding properties. The platinum blade is laser cut and hardened in Australia and glue and machined in Holland.

The blades can be ordered straight or bent. We also offer them in KR and Half KR spec which have the mounting set back 2cm and 1cm respectively on the blade. The sizes that we always keep in stock are:

Spec R 195mm

The Spec R is our mid range blade. It combines a quality 6061 aluminum tube with extremely high quality Japanese steel. The steel is hardened to 58 Rockwell. These blades have a slight bend cut in the tube for the steel so that you only need to slightly bend your blades. This means that the tube has less stress and less chance of it losing its bend like normal blades.

sonic 2000

The Sonic 2000 is our entry level blade. They are made with a high quality aluminum extrusion. They are pre bent so new skaters can get skating immediately without any knowledge of how to bend their blades.

One of the best new features of this blade is that it can fit 165mm and 195mm mounting. So inline skaters can use their inline boots to do short track with this blade.
