According to Nancy Swider-Peltz, coach of Swider-Peltz, Jr. and Crowley, her skaters accomplished their goals they set out for in the competition.

“Nancy has had a tough two weeks with her traveling with the team, applying for colleges and studying,” her coach said. “But her goal was to make the team and win this competition and she did it.”

“Margaret, the defending champion, is also racing with a full plate,” coach Swider-Peltz said. “She’s a full-time student at Northwestern University and traveling from Chicago to Milwaukee about three times a week to train. Those are tough elements to juggle and she’s doing fantastic”

Maria Lamb (River Falls, Wis.), as a Senior World Team member, automatically qualified for the junior world team. In addition to Lamb, Swider-Peltzer, Jr. and Crowley made the junior world team. Hawke qualified as an alternate and will compete in the junior country match.
