Hi Sara!!!

Thanks for the boots!!!!!! I received the boots (Zeros) from George on Wednesday morning. I tried
them for the first time at a General Session on Wednesday night. I didn't get to have much
of a feel for the boots. But I put them on my inline set-up and took them down to Eltham
for a training session. And......

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are unreal!!! We had a 10 lap race at Eltham.. And I lapped Second place twice!!!
The toe room on the boots is wicked!!! And I think I'll get a set of GT Specs instead of
some Maple blades. The boots look awesome!!! They look better than what I thought they
would ... Wow!!!! I skated last night and my feet are still floating!!! Wow... Once again
thanks for the boots and.... I'll update you
on my race meets...

Dear Glenn,

I received the wheels in the mail yesterday (Thank YOU), and "WOW"... I could not believe the difference in performance. As an experiment, I used my old skates and wheels for the first hour,,, the second hour I put on my new Bont wheeled skates, then went back to the old wheels just to compare the feel. It was amazingly better than what I was used to AND I was surprised to have as much grip on the floor (I was at the indoor rink last night) as I did. Being a hard 84A durometer, I expected some slipage and had NONE!

So... You've made a believer out of me and I want another set of wheels for my indoor skates. The set you just sent me were for my outdoor skates. I am still blown away by the speed I got and control I had. My old wheels are NOT worn down since I've used them exclusively indoors, but they ARE worn out- there's a vibration in them that I was not really aware of until I tried your wheels and felt how they are supposed to be.

Also, we both appreciate the fast response to our recent orders and look forward to doing a lot of business with you in the future... Bont skates, Bont clothes, Bont rules!!!

Just wanted to post a note to share my experience transitioning to speed skates this year and what I learned for myself. First a little
background. I've been skating on inlines on/off for about 9-10 years. I've never skated on speed skates until earlier this year.
I'm not a novice to inlines, but I am pretty much a novice to speed skating. (Keep this in mind as you read what I say -- this
is one man's experience.)

My first attempt was to buy off the shelf _________'s from _________. Many people had given these boots high marks,
and _______ seems convinced they work for most people. Being the cost-conscious person I was, and feeling I have rather normal
feet, I thought this might work. For me though, this really turned out to be a small disaster. They hurt my arches when I skated,
especially for the first 15-30 minutes. I had to tape my ankles everytime I skated a longer time (> 1 hour) or I'd get blisters
on my outer ankles. Also, I never could seem to find the outside edge on the boots -- it seemed like I was always fighting them,
having a hard time finding my balance so I could glide correctly. After a number of months, a numb left toe, many scars on my
ankles and feet, and some prodding from local experts Mark and Kendra, I decided it might be time to try something else.

So I shelled out the $$ and got custom bont pyros.

They arrived a week ago from this past Friday. Yesterday I skated 45 miles on them, and had no problems. Ankles were a bit sore (to be
expected -- Mark Sibert said the same thing after he got his), but all the problems I'd been having with the ________
seem to have vanished. No blisters anywhere on my feet. No numbness. I could get the outside edge and glide nicely.
And on and on. It was truly unbelievable the difference. On a comfort scale from 1-10, I'd say they're about at a
7.5 right now. The ___________ were probably a 4. My main rec skates (Rollerblade Boxcars) are close to a 10.

In summary, I've learned again that you get what you pay for. I can't really explain why the bonts are that much
more comfortable, and work that much better for me.
But reality is hard to argue with, even if you don't
understand it.

They (Zeros) are great. I couldn't have ask for a better or a more comfortable fit. I swear i'm at least 2 to 3 times faster (or it feels like it) in them. They look great but the feel alot better than they look, they really pay attention to how they make them you can tell just by the way the fit and feel. Thank you,

I have newly discovered your Ad "Bont or nothing" on the internet. It made some reactions of all kind i have understand. My reaction was; this is good advertising, real good - simple, fun and wonderful, talk its own language directly to the center of the mind with a big smile and a feeling of freedom... 
Ok. thats that. I wonder if its ok if I could use this Ad (picture) on our site, with a link to an article at www.skategrrl.com (where I first found this). The ad is to good to not be seen and will probably make some smiling feelings as it did to me. The history of the reaction is also fun reading and will certanly make us scandinavians smile some more - hard to understand for us what the harm is. The picture of the ad is supposed to be found at our clubsite www.ifkskejtar.nu (IFK Gothenburgh - inline and ice-speedskating club in Sweden).
 At the end of this mail - talking for myself. I own Bont myself and have always done and probably will going on to do so (a short time in another brand killed my feets and forced me to stay away for skating for 6 months. They caused an aggressiv inflamation). Just like the ad say - It's Bont or NOTHING. Thanx for great shoes that feels like naked skin that never have made any harm to my feets, no matter how I skate or for how long - the shoes feels like there where no shoes (Hustler for 2 years, cracked in a violent crach - ZX2 last 5 years - still going strong and seems to be unbreakable).

      Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you about the first race of the season....Brainerd.  Mark took first place in the fitness/rec and I
      took third place.  My time was seven minutes faster than last year at this race. Mark may have beaten me again, but it was much closer this year (3 whole
      seconds difference between us).  I attribute a large majority of my new-found success to the Bont's!  Now, we just need to keep this type

Glenn, Received my boots today and they look great but more importantly they feel great and seem to fit well. I haven't had the opportunity to skate a practice but did roll around on them outdoors a little. I guess they real test will be when I  do get to practice on them. The color combination turned out to look even better than I had hoped and I like it better than any other color combo I have seen yet. I really appreciate all your help and I will keep you posted. I wanted to let you know how impressed we are with Toby's new boots (the WC pyro's).  Toby loves the fit and the look and it only took him a couple of sessions to show a substantial improvement.  He went close to breaking 50 seconds for the 500 metre (he is only 13 years old and in his second year of skating). Other club members are also very impressed with the qualitiy of the boot.

Re: From Glenn, Leather Color WOW! I took the boots for a test run- finally- at the Dome. (ice season just ended) Words really can't express how great they are. Talk about the Cadillac of boots. It's an odd sensation because I felt like I had no boots on at all-just felt the power going directly from my foot to the frame and wheels. They are sooo light.  You did a good job on the molding. They fit very well the first time out.  Bont has done an amazing job with these boots. I guess I have no equipment excuses now.

just a very quick and late thank you (for my custom Zeros) and Happy New year !!!(and this goes for Inze, Alex, Rebecca and all the Bont staff). I received the Bont box 24th of December. Unbelievable what a lucky guy I am!!! When I slowly opened the box I was struck by lightning, glitter and flashes certainly the most beautiful shoe with or without wheels I never saw!!! And above all with my name on it and written right not Edy nor Eddy not even Eddie but just Me Edi! where half the world writes it wrong! I was able to do 1 ride as we have snow right now and they feel like gloves and behave very directly with my Snipers!

I got some Zero boots with an 84 mm Sniper frame. I make the (molds) at the last Worlds. I'm from the Colombian team the achieve the first place in Belgium. I got two silver medals. The new boots are perfect. My feet feels like having normal tennis shoes; with the frames are the perfect couple. The frames don't weigh too much for being of 84 mm. I am really happy with them and I am sure I get in the team for China with those skates.

Just wanted to let ya know that the Zeros fit great. I know I told you (after my first training run) that I got a couple blisters. Well, those blisters are gone! I'm sure they were just a fluke occurrence. No big deal.

I just use a little dab of BodyGlide around the heel area, & concentrate more on kicking with the heels, direct to the sides, etc. It's helping. No heat molding (or heat gun/ball & ring wrench) needed! And I think I finally found the best frame position for me. I just need to be conscious of my crossover's, because of the longer frame, etc. But I haven't fallen yet!

I just wanted to keep you posted on how things are going with the Zeros. Very nice boot indeed! And light. No comparison to the previous (-snip-) boot I was using.  It's like night & day! The Zero is literally "zero" in terms of weight! I'm sure that's how they arrived at the name!  Fairly obvious. Great boot. Not cheap, but definitely worth every penny!

I'll pass along my thoughts to others. I get a lot of "what brand of skate is that?" lately. When I say "Bont Zero", they ask, "Are they light?" When I hand them the boot/frame/wheel setup, the majority cannot believe it.

We've been meaning to write but have been negligent.

Kirk LOVES his boots! It was so fun to get your message about them being shipped and then to actually follow
the Fed-X updates. It was incredibly accurate.

So Kirk is real happy with the boots and Sniper frames. His color combination came out looking very nice.

Now I'm chomping at the bit to get me a pair. My Capetos are set up now for indoor, so just today I fiddled
with my old ("another brand") boots and got them set up for skating outdoors this winter. Gawd, they're heavy! Until I can get back down to California to see you, I guess I'll have to pretend the extra weight is a work-out strategy.

Thanks so much for all the work you did. The boots fit Kirk perfectly, and we're not making it up when we say
that he was instantly a better skater!

My name is Bob Prendergast, and I just purchased a set of boots from you. They were the boot of the week last week (bow070) and I just wanted to compliment everyone at Bont. The last pair of Bont's I owned was an old Sharkie (from about 7 years ago) from my inline days. I had been using a -snip -  ever since. In my mind, no boot could beat the comfort and build quality of the -snip -. Well, my mind got changed when I received delivery of my Pyrotechnics. They are hands-down, the best boot I have ever owned. I used them all day from Friday through Sunday right out of the box. I didn't even need to mold them!

It was good to see you in Duluth. Had I known just how wonderful the new skates were going to be I would have registered and skated in the race. I had questioned if the stock boot would satisfy the needs of my not-so-stock feet. After I got the skates I wore them for about five minutes and then heat molded them. I went that night and put about 30-miles on them. We get some strange looks around here when we skate anyway, as there are only two of us speed skaters that we know of in Omaha, but imagine the looks I got skating around in the dark with a flashlight in my hand and a giant smile on my face. These things are wonderful! My brother used to have to drag me out skating, now I can't wait to get home from work so I can go. I'm skating about 30-miles a day now on the new rig and I absolutely love it. I only have one problem, I'm going through wheels too fast!!!

Thank you so much for your patience through all of the e-mails and phone calls. You made at least one skater very happy. You'll undoubtedly be receiving more business me and my family and friends.

These Snipers are "awesome"!

Got them from Glenn Monday, mounted them Tuesday, but had bad weather here in Wisconsin until today. I put 31 miles in on them this morning and they were great. Don't get that "lazy foot wheel drag" after 27-30 miles. They seem stiffer than my Lithiums too. Also, don't know what your team members trying them reported, but it sure seems like less road surface vibration gets through to the boot with these?

I received my skates yesterday and put them together immediately. WOW! I could not believe they fit so well. For years I have had custom figure skates from a company here in the U.S. called HARLICK. Never have any of my boots felt as good as yours do. What's the secret? Also just wanted to let you know there was no need to heat them as they were a perfect fit as soon as I put them on.

I will be purchasing ice blades from you as soon as the weather here turns and I can no longer skate outside. I have some friends that may be contacting you soon too.

Hey Glenn, it's Jeremy Camp from Waldo, AR. I was letting you know how i'm doing with the skates. I went to a rink about 45 min. from here and they had a race later that night and i left every one behind right from the take off and later that night before i left the owner asked me where i got my skates and he asked me to coach his speed skating team. So i'm doing pretty good so far with the skates and as far as the team goes we start training next weekend together so i can get to know everyone and who knows i might see you at a race in the near future. Thanks ever so much and the boots fit like a glove.

Hello to all at Bont,
My skates arrived this morning (Friday) at about 11:00. I was at
work at the time, but was called by my excited younger brother to tell me
they had finally gotten here.
Fortunately our team practice was today so I was able to use
them right away. They fit perfectly!!!!
Even though I have not used speed skates before, I was used to
them in the first hour, and succeeded in dropping about half a second off
my fastest 100meter lap time. I am very happy with these wonderful
skates, and send my thanks to all of you who, undoubtedly, worked very
hard on them. Thanks again.

P.S. My skates are the envy of all my team members.

I purchased a pair of stock Boxers just over a year ago and went through
a period of grief, not knowing if I made the right decision. My feet
suffered as they adjusted during that initial "break in" period of
repeated skate & bakes (185 degrees F/20 minutes). Eventually both my
feet and I grew to really enjoy the skate, the improved performance they
provided and the hours that I could stay on them in comfort.

Well, I always had an eye for the custom pyros and eventually gave Glenn
a call. The boots were delivered yesterday and I can't heap enough
praise on them. Fantastic fit from the moment I put them on. And
little features like the velcro to hold the tongue in place and the
improved buckle are great! Glenn, good idea on the arches. My thanks
to your professionals at Bont for doing an unbelievable job.

Dear Glenn & the folks at Bont,

I have had a few months on my custom Pyros and I just had to write and say
they are outstanding! My eight year search for comfy boots has finally been
rewarded. You folks do an exceptional job, and Glenn was great to work with.
I have raced both long and short track ice on these boots, and now that the
weather is turning warmer I am skating inline both indoor and outdoors as
well. I haven't found something these boots aren't perfect for yet... These
boots have enough support for short track or indoor (indeed a lot of the guys
on my short track team have older Bonts, black widows and hustlers, they
looked at these with great interest) and also are comfy enough and have
enough fore aft flexibility for races like the 100k natural ice race at
marathon nationals (I took 2nd! not bad for a sprinter). I love the fact that
with the buckles I can tighten or loosen these boots on the fly, I have done
it several times during pack races just before the final acceleration to the
line. I always thought that skating had to be painful after an hour or so,
and that no matter what equipment you had, your feet would just hurt. Not
anymore, now I can concentrate more on workout pain instead of cutting skate
workouts short because of foot pain! Lucky me! I simply enjoy skating more
now because of these customs. Thanks again

sara, here's your happy skater you made her very happy, do you like her missing teeth, she has major dental work done every 4 weeks, and cost hundreds every time, the reason is because her baby teeth are bad and they have to do her till she is a teenager ,and that's when they think she'll get her permanent teeth around 12 or 13 yrs old.

Just thought you'd want to know how I was doing on my Bont shark attacks:
I was on them tonight, we did 2 speed skates at the skating rink I go to, I
was pretty fast. anyways at the end of the skate session, some parent was
there and we did a timing:

1st timing: 9 seconds
2nd timing: 8 seconds
(This is the time that it takes me to get around the skating rink)

We got up to 54 degrees in Chicago yesterday!!!! Cranked off 12 miles on my
Bonts...they were great. This was the first time I went back to my old route with
the new boots....and the feeling was soooo different from my (snip). The
boots feel so much a part of you...no slip...they're great! I'm getting
inspired watching the OLN station this week...they're doing an hour show on
the Olympic short and long track speed trials.....it's interesting that both
the top men's and women's skaters are "converts" from in-line.

I finally took my new boots out and did 5- and 10-mile.
There's essentially no break-in time. The fit is like socks.

I probably experience the big differences because of my extra
wide feet. I feel custom boots are well worth the extra money.

Hi I'm an inline speed skater here in Alaska. We are soon to be starting a speed team here.
Anyways I skate only on Bont boots. I just wanted to say how great your boots are. I started out
on a pair of Sharkies and am soon to be rolling on the ZX2's. My question is how can I get some cool

Hello from the Olympic City Lausanne. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I
skate since 2 weeks fully Bont equipped. You know it and I yell or
better yodel it: Skating will never be the same for me. I am half
gliding sailing flying, entering another dimension: Peace of mind
through speed!!! I was a difficult client I know and you did everything
to have me annoying you till my bitter skating end as I can't imagine
skating without you (this are only my first boots!!!)

I am really impressed how you are able to feed my (AND OTHERS) skating
passion. I connect to your site several times a day. Sara and Alex you
did an increeeediiiible job during the worlds. So incredible my dear(s)
that I was completely frustrated to have to wait 2 weeks to get the
MARATHUNDER "reportage". But naturally when I read it I felt ill about
my "impassion" as we say in French). Alison Swayer's papers were no 1
information source in the terrible news that felt while the worlds. And
I realized that Bont is more than products it is really a skater's style
of life. I already had the marketing influenced impression but now I
have the proof. When I skate hard now I have all this in my heart it
pushes me.

Please if you or other Bont involved people come to Switzerland let me
know you will have a home!!!

Especially that Glenn was my first contact with Bont and I
wanted to send him a thank-you msg too!!! (Glenn if you come to
Switzerland be my guest too) He was of top advice without actually doing
the business with him. (It's only later that I understood that he was
the US rep.). He sent me his Excel form and adviced me that when I get
the boots to move the frame more and more to the inside. All this looked
so unreal to me: I didn't make Glenn win a buck and above all he gives
me advice!!! This is so unusual in the present world.

I've received this morning my new custom made Pyro's. When I got them I put them on my feet immediately and as soon as I mounted on 'em my slingshot I started skating. It's the best boot I've ever had! My old (snip) are nothing compared to these boots! It' like I put on my feet a pair of gloves and I skate on 'em. Really thanks to everybody @ Bont. Tomorrow I'll skate on them my race in Forlì and hopefully I'll win again...

I am so happy to skate with my new Slingshot. Since august of this year
I skate with the Slingshot and all the races against my great
concurrence in our team I won!!!

The most fantastic race has been the Berlin-Marathon last weekend.
My new marathon-time is now 1:12.55 !!!! (1:21 before). I am sure
that ca. 4 min. will come from the Slingshot!!!!

Just thought I'd say my boots are a wonderful "fit," the upgrade from old 
sharkies to new pyro's is a pleasure for my feet. Gosh, I didn't know what I 
was missing in terms of comfort. I had been warned of an excruciating break 
in period for a stock boot...but it just wasn't there. I heat molded them 
twice to my feet, and began skating. A little rub at the top of each boot 
disappeared after 10 hours......and they are feelin' fine! Love 
'em.....thanks.

Hi Glenn,

I received my Pyros about two weeks ago and I have been on them every day
since. The only expression that I can think of to describe how I like them
would be, "Oh what a feeling!!!". The second day out on them, I skated 71
km. and they felt great. I cannot get over the difference a custom built
skate feels compared to a stock pair. The fact that my orthodics were
moulded in makes an enormous difference in the way they feel and handle. The
skates feel more a part of me, being a lot more snug and NO PRESSURE POINTS.
They feel and look great. I am also glad I chose to add buckles, I have the
impression that I don't have to tighten the laces as much. You were right
about the low cut back, they feel great, thanks for the tip. My compliments
to you Glenn for doing a great job on the moulds and to the people at Bont
who built my skates, because they look and feel like a work of art. THANK
YOU VERY MUCH.

I received my Pyro's this morning and naturally had to try them on, they fit
great! Thanks for the wonderful fit, and also your suggestion of getting the
low cuff, I know I'm going to like that but probably would have gotten the
mid cuff except for your advice.

I am an engineer who has been involved in developing many new products, I
really appreciate their beauty. I had planned to wear them at my desk but
every time someone stops by they want me to take them off so they can have a
closer look. Engineers sheesh!

I'm sure you can guess what I'll be doing after work tonight. Probably good
my frames are at home or I'd be skating in the parking lot now.

I can't gush enough about them, fit like a glove is an understatement, I've
never had a glove fit this good. I skated at a church parking lot for an
hour last night, and did 3 laps at Lake Harriet before work, heat molding
unnecessary. Absolutely no discomfort, they fit perfect. You weren't kidding
when you told me you could almost skate a custom boot without lacing, they
feel like I was born with them on.

Any one that thinks that equipment is not important,
when it comes to your feet, really needs to be
educated. Years ago when I was much lighter I would
have my running shoes rebuilt by an orthotist, or had
orthotics made for them, Enabling me to run. After
five years 6 various speed skates, Then two expensive
(snip) speed skates, and two pair of (snip) speed
skates, I finally did an intelligent thing. I went to
Glenn and had him mold me a set of custom Boots. He
molded me using my orthotics. The first time I put the
skates on was with a pair of conventional frames. They
felt so good that I put a pair of clapp frames on
almost right away. The boots are so light, and fit so
well, and with the clapp frame, it feels that I really
do not have much on my foot. I chased a bike around
eldorado, Far enough back to not be drafting, In 4:54,
the first time I used a stop watch. That was a week
ago. I have since adjusted the frames several times,
and am getting used to the set up. I did 4 laps
yesterday afternoon in the hot sun In 5:15, 5:57,
6:15, 6:30. The distance is 1.75 miles and I was
alone. Anyone that knows me knows that is a Hell of an
improvement. The biggest point is I've skated 7 out of
ten days. My Back is starting to come around and If I
can skate several times a week, I will continue to
improve. 

Buying the garbage that they sell off the shelf......
well you get what you pay for. Glenn's price was less
than $100 dollars more than the (snip) that I bought
for over $600, which will probably wind up in the
trash.

I was ready to hang up my skates after the first
two of Steve Blairs' 4 races at eldarado. Now I'm 
scrambling for enough to buy another boot, and am
taking off work early to skate. This is a great sport,
too bad more people are not in it. If more people
bought the right equipment there would be more skaters
out there. Its almost as aerobic as running and a lot
less dangerous for the body. Where you go for the
proper advice is your business. My money is on Glenn
and Bont.
Any one out there that wants to get a group going in
the evenings at Eldorado should meet there between 5
and 6 near the police academy on Monday, Wednesday,
And hopefully Thursday. That would make four days a
week with Saturday morning.
The sooner you get the right stuff........the better,

Just wanted to let you know that I got my boots yesterday, as did
several other club members !!! Mine look and feel great! They fit like a
glove.. I haven't really had a lot of time on them yet, as I'm still messing
with the lateral adjustment of the frame, trying to get it set correctly for
me. I was out until 8:00 pm or so last night adjusting the frame, in the
parking lot where we did the moulding.. It was mostly dark by then and the
black part (I got the totally black boots with yellow flames) boot just
"disappeared" into the black of the asphalt, but the yellow flames were
almost screaming.. Really, really neat looking!!

We (us Tucson folks and I) Just want to thank you for your timely
manner at getting everything to us as quick as you can. It is nice to
work with someone with a business sense and on the ball. everyone has
said something about you and Bont being on the ball. We have tried to
work with others, and still are, that are just not as timely. it
really makes a difference to the average customer to get something
when they are told they are going to get it. You have already
surpassed my expectations just by doing your job. Getting Ramir his
skates, and Flo her bearings, etc etc. might not seem much to you but I
have had people wait for something in the past and we had to follow up
still to get them their products. you are the man. it will be nice
doing business with you. :~)

I Love my Bonts!!!!

I finally bonded with my Bonts. I took my old (snip) boot and put a
stretch four frame on them with the intention of using them as my "travel &
fitness" skates. I don't think I can use the (snip) anymore even for just
a fitness skate because they feel awful compared to the Bonts. I didn't
realize how bad the (snip) were until I got the Bonts and realized how much
better a custom fit was. I have had absolutely no heel pain since I took
your advice and heat molded them. After the heat molding, I put them on and
skated away. I've never even had a blister or a hot spot, even from the
start!

Thanks for asking about the boots, and I really believe it was your great
molding and customer service that made the difference! See ya on the
road!!!

Voorlopig ben ik blij, heel blij zelfs. Via
Stouwdam heb ik sinds vorige week de Slingshots
onder de schoenen. Ze rijden fantastisch. Ik moest
inderdaad het binnenste ringetje weg halen om
aanlopen van de wielen te voorkomen.

En ding is zeker, de Slingshot is een schot in de
roos. Bovendien geeft het veel vertrouwen dat jullie
hebben kunnen nakomen wat jullie beloofden tav de
levertijd. Complimenten daarvoor.

Sonja is trouwens vreselijk veel harder gaan
rijden op die dingen. Dat wordt nog wel wat.

Hi Sara,

I am so sorry that I haven't written sooner to thank you. Glenn met me at
speed practice on Tuesday and gave me the new boots. The difference in the
way they fit was very noticeable. I have only gotten to wear them twice
since getting them but they seem to be perfect. I had worn my Hypers
outside once or twice and my Bonts twice outside. The Bonts are so much more
comfortable than the Hypers. You did a little better job on the heal cup
than they did. I promised Glenn I would try the Bonts at indoor practice to
see how they compare in speed and power transfer to the Hypers.

Thanks Again Sara and Inz. If you guys ever come to southern California let
me know and Dinner is on me! As a professional Artist I consider myself a
very good judge of quality workmanship and Inz your the best!! My heels
don't move at all and my toes are so comfy, hey do you make a nice dress
shoe? :). Maybe next year we can do a pair of Capeto's

I do love my ZX2's I still have not needed to heat mold them, they fit like they were
custom boots, even though they are off the shelf. With just switching to the ZX2's from my old boots I have shed minutes off my long distance times, yes minutes! I also would like to say thank you for the story you wrote about Tucson, just as a side note in the last 5 races, I am 5-0 in placing in the top three over-all since getting my new Bonts. Again thank you for all the help and encouragement you have extended to me.

Just wanted to drop you a line and tell about the new boots I recently got. In twenty plus years of skating I have never, ever been able to just put my skates on and go. Until now . Can't begin to tell you how much tape and mole foam that I've gone thru. I put the boots on my frames on Friday nite, skated for maybe 20 minutes and then raced a 10 k Saturday morning.
The frame on my left boot loosened up but the boots feel great. Plus I put on another 30 miles on Sunday morning. I just cannot say enough about how good these boots feel.

Well, after only 6 weeks or so, I got my new Bont "Pyro" last week!
I skated for 10 minutes on them then did an 8k race!! They seem PERFECT so 
far!! not a single "hot spot" or anything!!! Now I don't have an excuse for

Well I say that Bont is the best boot's in the world. When I got my 
pyrotechnics I enhanced my skating ability. I had never found speed like 
this. I think Bont kicks tail. Even though I change boots for my speed team 
fast. My best boot's were my Sharkie, Pyrotechnics, and Redback. Thanks Bont.

they finally arrived!!! since a few days i am the owner of the best looking
speed skates in europe.
now i know the difference between (name ommitted) crap and custom made capetos from
bont. my feet are highly pleased as well as i am. it is a shame that i can't start my training
due to our german winter weather. it is way to cold and raining all day.(like sydney in
november 2000).

I am not sure I can do this for you very well because I don't have anything 
bad to say about my Bont skates. Since I stared skating on the Bonts I 
only skated on my Roces and Tecnicas once each. They felt like lead! My Pyro 
babies fit like a glove and are vvvery light! 
What else can I say.... they fit so good I don't even feel them! The downside 
is, after our regular 15 mile skate on Wednesday night I am not even tired 
anymore.... maybe the darn things are too good for a fitness skate! 
Seriously! They look great. They make me look good, feel good, and skate a 
lot faster. I am very happy with my Bont skates.

At the Champions meet I noticed that the Ninja MiniMisers no longer have the
original white soft plastic sleeve. They now have a black one that looks
suspiciously like a BabyBont sleeve...

Did they copy your stuff ??

I haven't test run the new version of MiniMisers vs Baby Bonts, but the old
MiniMisers were significantly slower than my BSB's.
The Baby Bonts are quite a bit faster than the BSB's.
After the warmup for the outdoor 10k (which is the first time I'd ever put
the Minis on) , I told the other skaters "just don't fall in front of me,
because as fast as these babys go I'm not going to be able to stop!"
Unfortunately I could not get a reliable 10k time because that's the race
where the kid got in the way - and even though I got back up the crash was
hard enough to make me go into shock (with 22 laps to go...). I was lucky
just to get back up to 1st in that one, I didn't have the steam to try for a
new personal best.

I got the ceramic 688 mini bearings. I am using the stinkin ninja patened
washers. These bearings are the fastest bearings I have ever had what
rockets. Thank you so much for sending them to me I really appreciate it.
These bearings are as good if not better than the ninja ceramic mini miser
bearings and at a fraction of the cost. Ninja's 688 mini miser ceramic
bearings are over $500 us dollars for a complete set. Not only are they
losers for patening a common plastic washers but there over charging for
there products, what a bunch of losers. I will never buy any ninja products
and will continue to buy your Bont products at very reasonable prices. Thanks 
again for the excellent products but most of all thanks for the best support in the
inline skating industry. keep up the good work and keep providing excellent
products and services to your loyal and new customers.

pair of Chameleons and they look absolutely smashing...and they fit and feel
just as great as they look. Although it's almost 1 a.m. now, I cannot wait

report after some real-life skating.

And likewise, I do hope to have a skate with you too. I don't know when but

A little prelude:
As you know Andre' ( my brother ) and I produce a show called Inside Extreme
(extreme lifestyles, athletes...etc). We have been in post production for
the last 20 days, everyday (7days a week), 12-18hrs a day. My boots arrived
today (early...when does that happen these days...thank you so much...what a
great surprise)....just after I took a small break, and I figured....great
time to go for a skate. Now I figured...this is going to take some getting
used to...there is going to be a break in period.....will there be a big
difference.

I put those on.....and they felt AMAZING! I skated like a new whole new me.
Felt like I have been skating in those boots for years.

What can I say...great job with the fit. Great job BONT making an amazing
boot. Absolutely remarkable!

I received Tyler's boots today!! He was Very Very Excited and thinks
they are very cool!! I do like the Color combination a lot better than
the standard version.  TYLER LOVES THE BOOTS. When he saw them on
Friday he was grinning from ear to ear!! He practiced in them on Friday and
Saturday. He had them on for about 4.5 hrs yesterday.  Everyone on the team
