The 3PF 6061 gets you into Bont's latest technology at an affordable price. The 6061 frame applies the same principles as the 7050 frame with the same great looks. The patented 3 point design is brought together with the best materials and the most advanced inline frame computer stress test simulations on earth.

Computer Aided Stress Testing
Bont employs the most advanced computer aided frame stress testing on the market. This ensures that every part of the frame is strong enough to withstand month after month of skating without suffering metal fatigue which is a popular cause of frame breakage. The design was then tested in our 3D simulator which tests the frames strengths and weaknesses in a real skating simulation. The design was tweaked and re-tested.
Bont is all about challenging the industry’s concept of what an inline frame should look like. We set out on this project to create an object of desire while servicing the needs of professional athletes. By exploring recent developments in CAD/CAM engineering, we were able to create an extremely complicated concept that pushed the boundaries of modern design and created something truly exciting.
6061 T6 Aluminum
6061 Aluminum is a very versatile metal which makes it easy for us to extrude and machine. It has very good anti-corrosive properties and specifically for inline racing it is not a very brittle metal which is good for fighting against stress fatigue. It is a beautiful looking metal which anodizes and polishes well which allowed us to get that really expensive look on this frame. T6 - means that the 3PF frame has been solution heat treated and then artificially aged. This tempering process greatly increases the hardness of the metal. The extrusion must be held in a special jig while it is tempered to stop it from twisting.
The 3PF 6061 frame is highly polished with beautifully beveled edges. The type of polishing that we chose is known in the industry as 'brilliant finish' simply because it is an extremely high standard of polishing. The frame is then anodized in gun metal gray and printed in black to give a very refined look.
2 and 3 Point
The 3PF frame can be attached to a 195mm 2 point boot or our new 195mm 3 point boots. This gives you the most flexibility of any frame available to mix and match a setup that suits your needs. For example, indoor skaters want the flexibility of a 2 point frame whereas road skaters want the strength of a 3 point.
Bont has pro teams all over the globe and our teams include many of the best skaters in the world. We have used them to fine tune the frame on a variety of surfaces.

The axles are made of 7075 Aluminum to ensure that they never strip.
CNC Precision Machining
The 3PF is machined using precision CNC machines. This ensures that the bearing mounts are perfectly flat and the axles line up perfectly. All important factors in ensuring the highest roll possible.
