Alpha

The Alpha is Bont’s first ever rec skate. The boot is a carbon composite boot that is fully heat moldable and incorporates our Super Mold Technology which makes it the most heat moldable rec skate on the market. The foot bed and tongue are also moldable.

The frame is an extruded 6000 series Aluminum S-frame with 1 piece axles that are machined, not punched. The aluminum spacers are also machined. Frame graphics use a heat print that has a UV scratch proof coating.

The wheels are a choice of XTR 90mm Racing wheels or 84mm wheel. The bearings are ABEC 7 racing bearings with the 90mm skates and ABEC 5 with the 80 and 84mm.

Brake is optional.

Alpha pink & Alpha blue

The pink and blue Alpha are perfect for kids. They offer a very supportive boot for young ankles. We have just modified this model so that the base is now 100% fiberglass with no carbon so that we can make this skate more affordable. For a short time, we will still be shipping the current stock that has a carbon base, but once they are sold out, we will be switching to the 100% hand laid fiberglass base. It still has our super moldable resin, but it has no thermoplastic inside like the silver version.
